Past Hickok Belt Award ® winners are truly a select group – a veritable who’s who of sports icons. The award has celebrated the incredible careers of leading figures throughout sports. Pete Rose (1975)

Known for his all-out, pedal-to-the-metal style of play, the player nicknamed “Charlie Hustle’’ wound up setting numerous records during his big-league career, the most significant ones being the most hits (4,256) and most games played (3,562). Rose played for three World Series champions and made seventeen All-Star Game appearances at an unequaled five different positions (second base, left field, right field, third base and first base). The Cincinnati, Ohio, native was born on April 14, 1941.
